Walks
Each of the local groups organise walks. Members of the public are welcome to join and sample the delights of walking in Hertfordshire & North Middlesex.
The area has a publication: Ten Walks in North Herts, £2.00 incl. p&p; order from Robin Parker, 21 Bedford Road, Hitchin, Herts SG5 2TP
Each group devises their own programme. In the last year there have walks around Ludlow in Shropshire, South Downs, around Canterbury, in the Stort Valley and on the Stevenage Outer Orbital Path as well as, of course, a great many more local walks.
Members walk not just in Hertfordshire, but all over the world. Our magazine Stile often publishes articles on such 'expeditions'; a sample of these can be found on our reports page.
